Technical Sales Engineer Semiconductor – UK

Job Description
Our client is a dynamic and successful semiconductor manufacturer whom are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Account Manager.
Leveraging one of the industry's broadest intellectual property (IP) portfolios, they provide electronics systems manufacturers with complete system solutions. This enables its customers, in the consumer, industrial, communications, computing and automotive markets, to lead the markets they serve with electronic products that are smaller, smarter and more cost-effective than ever before.
This is a key role within the N. European organisation and will be responsible for the account management, support and promotion through direct sales and via distribution of the client's product range. Duties include:
Promote system solutions into defined customers directly and through distribution contacts Develop relations with customers into long-term business partnerships, through the development of matrix relationships (engineers to directors) Manage the commercial interface to the customer, including resolution of short term issues
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate, degree qualified in a technical subject with demonstrable experience in a technical / commercial role gained in a distributor or OEM, possibly as a distribution FAE. Knowledge of the Microprocessor and Microcontroller market sector would be advantageous. A self starter you will have a proven background in new business development and account management skills.
Ideal location would be Bucks, Berks, Surrey, West London or Wiltshire
