European Sales Director - Semiconductors

Job Description
Position requires technical knowledge and a very proactive and prospective work ethic. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets for Tier 1 customers such as ST Microelectronics, Nokia, Ericsson and Texas Instruments, and Tier 2 (consumer electronics and handheld computer firms. Candidate should be able to start sales from zero.

We, on behalf of a US semiconductor firm serving the consumer electronics market, seeks a European Sales Director. Reporting to the VP Sales, the Director of European Sales is responsible for all sales activity in Europe, including management of direct staff and a network of sales representatives. The Director of Sales - Europe will generate a detailed business plan with target accounts, bookings and billings for the assigned territory and will ensure the execution of that plan relative to the assigned sales quota for that territory. Sales results for the assigned territory will be measured and assessed relative to assigned quota on a quarterly basis. Familiarity with embedded memory and ASIC design process. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, or other European languages would be of interest.
