Application Engineer - EDA Application Engineering is responsible for demonstrating, implementing, training and troubleshooting the company’s software products which are used for printed circuit board design verification. Application Engineers perform these primary duties at customer sites and maintain the ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction, post sales support and overall project management. Greater focus is placed on printed circuit board layout and design related experience for this position.Requirements Must possess a suitable knowledge level and demonstrate proficiency in operating systems such as Solaris, HP/UX and Microsoft Windows. Applicant must present exceptional organizational, analytical and self-management skills. Have the ability to travel in order to visit customer sites primarily within North America. Experience with EDA based applications such as Mentor, Cadence, Valor etc. coupled with a background in Design for Manufacturability a definite plus.
